Robertson, Bill. "Q: What Do Energy Drinks Do to Your Body?" Science and Children 51.4

(2013). Questia School. Web. 23 Jan. 2015.

People think that they need energy drinks in their regular diet. They actually don’t need of the energy drinks to stay awake. This doesn't help at all it only makes the brain to feeling better with all of the sugar they have consumed. One of the energy drinks that have been around for a long time are coffee. Nobody says anything about that but it is true. Coffee started  in the 13th century as giving more energy to various individuals. There are some weird ingredients that are included in energy drinks that are extremely bad for the body. The best combination of energy is lots of caffeine and sugar. There are things in certain drinks that contain too much caffeine.Drinking two cups or more of one energy drink has too much caffeine. Caffeine is appropriate in certain small amounts, but not by trying to over stuff the body.

I want to use these direct quotes to help me explain the information.

“Caffeine increases the production of adrenaline,” (Robertson).

“Glucose is a sugar that your body uses directly as energy for basic body functions and activity,” (Robertson).

This is a credible source because its peer reviewed and its on questia school. This had really important it was helpful. It also had many of the information that I needed. It gave facts with some background information that really helped. This is a Science and Children’s magazine that informs parents about the health issues.

I will use this as a source of information for informational purposes. There was a lot of information that is needed in order to understand the effects of caffeine. There are so many different types of ways to get caffeine. I am also going to use many of the information that's included in the article. The most important information was that it was written by a concern parent. He didn’t know much of the effect of caffeine and he want to inform himself as well as other parents.
